Bridging The Gaps of Arkansas Empowering TXK Coalition mission is to provide a safe gather location for individuals to share concerns and abate the devastating causes of substance (Alcohol, Prescription Drugs, Methamphetamines and Opioid) abuse and misuse.

Underage Drinking in Miller County
The prevalence of underage drinking in Miller County poses a significant public health concern, with a notable impact on the well-being and safety of the community's youth. This issue is characterized by instances of illegal alcohol consumption among individuals below the legal drinking age, leading to potential health risks, impaired decision-making, and increased likelihood of engaging in risky behaviors.

7.7% of 6th - 12th grader reported using Alcohol within the last 30 days.

Youth Misuse of Rx Drugs in Miller County
The misuse of prescription drugs among the youth in Miller County is emerging as a critical issue affecting the community's health and safety. This problem involves the non-medical use of prescription medications by young individuals, leading to potential health complications, substance abuse disorders, and a heightened risk of accidental overdoses. Addressing this concern is crucial for safeguarding the well-being of the youth and promoting a healthier community

The Arkansas Opioid Recovery Partnership (ARORP)

The Arkansas Opioid Recovery Partnership (ARORP), an initiative of the Association of Arkansas Counties and the Arkansas Municipal League, represents a network of organizations committed to providing support for Arkansans in recovery, neighbors suffering from a substance-misuse disorder, and families who have experienced loss due to the opioid epidemic.

ARORP is working to abate the devastating loss caused by opioids.
